About Me
I'm Tianna Miles: Archivist, Researcher & Librarian.
I’m the archivist and researcher behind Miles Beyond the Shelf, where I help organizations, creatives, and community projects preserve records, document histories, and shape meaningful narratives from the materials they hold.
My work brings together archival practice, digital preservation, and legacy storytelling to support people who are building, remembering, and interpreting the past in intentional ways. Whether I’m organizing collections, researching context for creative work, or supporting community memory projects, I approach each collaboration with care for both the records themselves and the stories they make possible.
I believe preservation is not only about storage—it’s about access, understanding, and making sure important histories remain visible and usable for the future.
